We transformed the car park into an event venue for our client, providing the complete technical package.
During the licensing stages of the project we worked closely with the venue and the Licensing Authority regarding both Health and Safety and noise pollution, planning the concert arena and sighting the stage to assist in the reduction of sound pollution to sensitive properties.
Hawthorn designed, supplied and managed the complete event and the technical package included power distribution, the stage, lighting and sound, together with ancillary items such as control barriers.
The concert went according to plan and started within a minute of the time printed in the programs! There were 8 acts in total combined with a birthday address from the head of the organisation, and between the acts members of the organisation preformed on the front of the stage whilst the rear was set for the next act. Throughout the concert timing was imperative as the members had to leave within 5 minutes of the end of the concert to catch trains and ferries. The last act left the stage on time!
The owners of the venue were so impressed that they are keen to hold their own concerts in the near future.
