HAWTHORN'S SOLUTION
Hawthorn has recently completed the installation of specialist technical equipment in a large multi purpose theatre space at Francis Holland School`s Carmel Hall. The new development provides the 450 strong girls` school with cutting-edge music and drama facilities (including ten sound proof music practice rooms) and also a stunning double-height performance space. This multipurpose theatre space will be used by both the school and local community.
Hawthorn installed lighting, sound, video and drapes, along with an AMX control system.
Specified equipment included:
Chilli dimmers and LED RGBW par cans, a Roland digital snake system, Christie Projector, IWBs, an Allen and Heath IDR audio control system and Yamaha amplifiers.
Hawthorn also installed heavy duty curtain track and drapes, manufactured by their in-house specialist drapes department.
The project was completed within budget and on time. Hawthorn now have a strong ongoing relationship with the school offering training to staff and students and maintenance and servcing through their ServiceSafe department.
